FAQs

Payments & pricing

If you're browsing our website, simply select a frame style and choose the size – the price will be displayed, excluding VAT. If you're not online, feel free to contact us, and our team will provide a price list or a quote. Trade account holders can log in to view their discounted prices. If you need assistance navigating the site to find pricing, we're happy to guide you through it step-by-step.

We categorise our frames into six price bands – A to F – based on material, size and production complexity. Band A frames are the most affordable, while Band F represents our higher-end options. Larger frames or those with intricate mouldings typically fall into the higher bands due to increased material and production costs.

When browsing our website, you'll see pricing listed per frame size. While these bands are primarily for internal grouping, they offer a general guide – simpler, smaller frames tend to be more budget-friendly, whereas larger, more detailed designs come at a higher price. This system keeps pricing clear and easy to navigate.

No, all prices quoted or listed on our site are exclusive of VAT. VAT will be added at the checkout stage for UK customers where applicable. We list prices ex-VAT because many of our customers are VAT-registered businesses that reclaim VAT. This approach ensures transparency, allowing you to see the base price and VAT separately on invoices. For non-UK or VAT-exempt customers, we handle VAT according to applicable regulations.

No, we do not have a minimum order spend. We welcome orders of any size, whether you're a wholesaler placing a large order or a consumer looking for just one or two frames.

While we strive to offer fair pricing year-round, we do run promotions from time to time, such as seasonal sales clearance deals. Here are some other ways to save:

Bulk order discounts

For projects requiring hundreds or thousands of made to measure frames, reach out to us. We may be able to offer contract pricing based on volume and tool up for your specific needs. While bulk discounts aren’t listed for retail, larger quantities of the same item typically result in a lower cost per piece due to economies of scale.

Trade account discounts

Trade account holders receive lower pricing than retail, with discounts significant enough to support reselling or provide a healthy margin for your business. Along with better prices, trade accounts often get exclusive promotions and the option to negotiate quotes for large projects.

We believe our prices are competitive, given the quality and fully custom service we offer. If you find an identical service or frame at a lower price elsewhere, let us know, and we’ll review it. While we don’t have a formal price-matching policy, we’ve matched or beaten competitor prices for the same specifications, especially on larger orders. If the difference is small, we might offer an upgrade (e.g., UV glass) instead of lowering the price, giving you even better value.

The challenge is ensuring it’s truly an apples-to-apples comparison – some framers may use lower-quality materials, where we use archival-quality ones. However, if you provide a quote or advertised price for a comparable custom frame, we’ll do our best to match it. Our goal is to ensure you feel you’re getting the best deal with us.

That said, due to variations in options, comparisons aren’t always straightforward. If budget is a concern, feel free to talk to us – we might suggest alternative framing choices that reduce costs while still achieving a similar look. For larger B2B projects, we’re flexible on pricing and will work with you to meet your budget.

So, while not a formal policy, we approach each situation on a case-by-case basis. If you have a legitimate comparison, we’re happy to discuss it. It never hurts to ask!

We accept most major debit and credit cards, including Visa and MasterCard. Please note that we do not accept American Express, so kindly use an alternative card. Trade account holders with established terms can pay via bank transfer against invoices. At this time, we do not offer PayPal or Klarna-like services for trade orders. For special payment arrangements, such as BACS transfers upfront, please contact our accounts team. We strive to offer convenient and secure payment options for all customers.

For trade orders, payment is typically made upon ordering via credit or debit card. However, for established accounts, we may offer net 30 days payment terms or similar on invoices, particularly for contract clients who place regular orders. This gives you more flexibility to manage cash flow. As we build a history together, a trade account may lead to more favourable payment terms.
