FAQs

Customisation & design

Customisation is at the heart of our service. When ordering, you can personalise nearly every aspect of your frame, including:

  • Frame colour: Customise the frame colour, choosing from natural wood tones, contemporary painted finishes and gilded metallics.
  • Frame style: Our frame range includes everything from sleek, modern frames to high-end, gallery-grade frames.
  • Frame size: Choose your preferred frame size, with 80 standard sizes to pick from. If you’re looking for something unique, such as a circular frame or a floating mount, please get in touch – we often take on special custom orders beyond our listed options.
  • Frame material: Select your desired frame material, choosing between solid wood and recycled materials.
  • Frame mounts: Customise with a wide range of colours, single or double mounts and multi-aperture layouts.
  • Frame glazing: Choose from budget-friendly, shatterproof acrylic right through to museum-grade glazing with UV-protection.

Every frame is made to order, ensuring a one-of-a-kind piece tailored to your artwork. If you have something specific in mind, please get in touch – we’re happy to help!

Yes, we do. Multi-aperture frames (also known as multi-picture or collage frames) feature multiple openings for displaying a set of images. We can create a custom mount with various cutouts, allowing you to display multiple photos or artwork in a single frame. Common configurations include side-by-side openings, grid layouts or more complex gallery-style setups. If our standard templates don’t match your vision, just let us know – we can create custom multi-opening layouts. Whether it’s a series of travel photos, family memories or art prints, we’ll ensure the spacing is even and visually pleasing. For popular sizes, we also offer pre-cut collage mounts, which can help save costs. When ordering, simply specify the number of openings and their sizes.

Absolutely! We offer a print and frame service where you can upload your digital image directly to our website. We accept common file formats such as JPEG, PNG, TIFF and PDF. After uploading, you’ll select your print size and crop the image if needed. We use high-resolution inkjet printing (giclée) with archival inks and papers, including options like lustre photo paper, matte art paper and canvas. Once printed, we’ll mount and frame it just like we would for a physical photo. Our team ensures the resolution is suitable for the selected size, and we’ll make minor adjustments like colour correction or cropping if necessary. Turnaround time is typically within our normal timeframe, though printing may take slightly longer. An additional cost applies for printing, depending on the size and paper, but we aim to keep it reasonable.

We can frame items like football shirts, original artworks, certificates and textiles. For sports shirts and similar pieces, we typically ask customers to visit our workshop in person. This allows you to choose your photo mount and frame colours, discuss any special requests – such as a keyhole cut for a name or number – and ensure everything is tailored to your needs.

If you're unable to visit us, we may still be able to help remotely. Please get in touch to discuss your item and framing requirements. We’ll advise on next steps and provide guidance on sending your piece safely, if appropriate.

Yes, we offer custom shadowbox framing for three-dimensional objects. This includes items like medals, military insignia, coins, baby shoes and even vinyl records. We have deep box frames that can hold items with depth, and use various techniques to mount them securely.

Framing 3D items is usually handled as a custom request, so please contact us with the details, and we’ll propose a design.

Please note, memorabilia framing is often more time-consuming and may cost more due to the extra labour and specialty materials. Many corporate clients also use this service for framing awards or prototypes. Rest assured, we’ll guide you through the entire process to protect and display your treasured items.
