Superdry is a globally recognised fashion brand known for its distinctive fusion of vintage Americana and Japanese-inspired graphics. With stores across the UK and worldwide, Superdry’s striking retail displays play a key role in communicating its bold aesthetic and brand identity.

The challenge

As part of their in-store marketing strategy, Superdry needed a collection of high-quality picture frames to enhance their window displays across all UK locations. These frames had to be stylish, versatile and consistent in size and design to ensure a cohesive look across multiple stores. The brand required a supplier who could deliver picture frames in bulk, ensuring uniformity across their displays.

The solution 

In 2020, Superdry, through a third-party procurement business, placed their first order with Readymades for a curated selection of frames. The order consisted of pre-selected frames in four moulding styles and five different sizes, which were distributed to all Superdry stores across the UK.

While the frames were never sold in stores or branded with Readymades’ face papers, they became an integral part of Superdry’s retail displays, providing a sleek and professional presentation for promotional materials and imagery.

The results 

Readymades’ picture frames became a key feature of Superdry’s retail environment, enhancing window displays across the UK. The collaboration showcased Readymades’ ability to deliver high-quality frames at scale while meeting the specific aesthetic and functional needs of a major fashion retailer.

By providing custom framing solutions, Readymades helped Superdry create impactful in-store displays that captured attention and reinforced the brand’s visual identity.
