The challenge

To support their growing range of printed wall art, Photobox needed a reliable supplier of high-quality picture frames and picture frame mounts that matched their brand standards. The frames needed to be available in a small selection of finishes – black, white and oak – and in standard photographic sizes only. As these frames are used exclusively for Photobox products, they had to be produced in a specific moulding that reflects the brand’s aesthetic.

The frames are supplied without backing boards or glass, so precision and consistency were essential. A supplier that could scale quickly and work closely with their production partner was key.

The solution 

Readymades began supplying frames to Photobox’s partner, Precision Proco, in September 2023, and began fulfilling orders for Photobox directly the following year. 

By focusing on rim-only production, we were able to streamline delivery and ensure our picture frames could be integrated seamlessly into Photobox’s production process. Our ability to consistently supply high volumes of uniform frames, without the need for bespoke sizes, made us an ideal partner for their needs.
